This Fendi collection is true the seasons: spring and summer. It is colourful, airy, fresh and bright. The collaboration between Karl Lagerfeld and Silvia Venturini is a successful one and it is surprising and impressive that Lagerfeld can be so versatile in his vision and designs in order to suit a brand. There are some unusual colour combinations and in every instance they somehow work. What I found most intriguing was in the details; the white dress that Natasha Poly wears has light burn marks around the edges, and the dress that Jac wears features flowers made by a coarse weave method. The accessories are also a stand-out. I hardly need to comment because they speak for themselves, and I am confident they'll be a hit. The bold colours, the geometric cuts and the feminine feel are highly complementary and I hope that people will embrace this splash of vibrancy and life.
